species of Ornamental Waterfowl Heathfield Wildfowl is based in Warwickshire with in easy access of the Midlands motorway network and is owned and run by Billy Sumner. It is home to a select group of ornamental geese and ducks including several rare colour mutations all maintained within a delightful garden setting. The collection comprises of around 20 species including whistling, dabbling, diving and sea ducks and also geese. |

Consultancy and Advice With over 30 years of experience in the management of wildfowl and domestic waterfowl and poultry I would be happy to advice on all aspects of waterfowl care from species suitability to pond and fence construction and garden landscaping .

Available A number of birds are reared each year and all surplus stock will be available from September onwards. All bird will be hand reared (although our geese are encouraged to rear there own young) and will be pinioned. Please contact me for availability and price. Other species may be available please ask. |

| Profile The collection is owned and maintained by Billy Sumner. Having always had a life time fascination with birds Billy has kept a variety of different birds most of his life. Billy has been a member of the BWA for over 30 years and waterfowl have been kept at Heathfield for longer than that. Billy started with domestic waterfowl and poultry and has shown large teams of birds at all of the regional shows with some considerable success but a move towards wildfowl and more unusual birds meant the domestics making way for what is now an exclusively wildfowl collection with the exception of a few call ducks and Pekin Bantams. |

| Billy is a respected judge of all breeds of domestic geese and ducks and will be happy to advise on all aspects of there care. | |

| Billy also has extensive knowledge on a wide variety of bird species including Cranes ,storks ,Egrets ,Ibis ,waders, soft bills, pigeons and doves and owls all of which have been maintained and breed at Heathfield. | |
